A step up in the war or a technical malfunction?

The "Sedrot" website, which offers pirated video content on a large scale, is not available from several of its various addresses - according to reports on the network today (Monday).

At the same time, the official Telegram pages of the site, which provided links and technical support to surfers, have also been inactive for the past few hours.

When entering the domain, the message appears (in free translation) - "The page is not available, please try again later".

As you may recall, in May 2022 the Federal Court in the USA ruled that the websites from the "series" family: Sdarot.TV, Israel TV and Israeli TV provide illegal services - and issued an order to the American internet providers to block access to the servers of these websites. The fight was led by an organization Protecting copyright in Israel - Zira.

As part of the verdict, the court ordered compensation in the amount of 7.6 million dollars from each of the pirate entities for copyright infringement.

At the same time, the court issued an order to all the technology providers that distributed the pirated websites to immediately stop providing services to the blocked websites.

The owners of the rights to the Israeli content, among them Hot, Yes, Charlton, United King and other media organizations filed the lawsuit in February 2022 against the pirate websites that illegally broadcast Israeli content abroad.
