Every year, DJI, the world's leading company in the production of civilian drones and aerial imaging technology, holds in cooperation with the importer in Israel 'Banda' the drone photography competition "Up 2023".

In the last decade, drone photography has become a real art, when, apart from the technical knowledge to operate the drone, many photographers who were limited until now, or rather "grounded" to direct photographs from the camera lens, in recent years crossed the sky and with the help of the drones reached the sky in search of the " The perfect picture."

The competition itself has existed for several years, but now it has been renewed in a unique format and allowed the creators a whole month to upload the best photos to the competition website, when this year a prestigious video category of videos taken from drones - up to 30 seconds - was also added.



A team of judges consists of a leader in the field, among others, Ziv Koren - photojournalist and docu, Tom David Frey (Germany) - global vlogger with a leading YouTube channel in the field of drones, Paul Gland - representative of importer DJI, Tomer Gelb - network influencer and brand ambassador in Israel, Sagit Adri - from the Cinema City chain and Roy Glitz - DJI ambassador and global photographer.

These, along with other businessmen and interested parties chose the first places, while the general public also had the opportunity to choose the audience's favorite among the submitted works.



At the beginning of April, the winners and the judges will gather together with people from the photography world in Israel to present the awards in a unique invited event and their works will be presented during the evening.

In addition, during April and for two months, the winners' works will be displayed in an exhibition open to the general public at the Azrieli Mall in Tel Aviv, on the third floor of the shopping complex where thousands of people pass by every day.



"The drones have brought a new and revolutionary dimension to the field of photography, which makes it possible to present photography angles and perspectives that could not be reached before," said Paul Gland, VP of Marketing at Banda, a DJI representative.
