, sleep could also be a variable to consider.
The French and American researchers examined the scientific literature on the subject, and found a
“robust association”
between short nights (less than six hours) and a reduction in the amount of antibodies produced by the body in response to vaccination. .
The phenomenon is more marked in men.
The scientists collated data from general population follow-ups and experimental studies, in which participants were voluntarily deprived of sleep in the nights before or after the injection.
