Visit to the workshop ends with a ticket: "What's wrong with the people?"

Although a Twitter user's car was in the workshop, it was flashed on a Saturday in Wuppertal.

It was actually closed at the weekend.

Anyone who takes their car to the workshop assumes that it will be treated with care there.

Customers tend to expect fewer jaunts during the test drive or a visit from the mechanic at McDonalds.

Likewise with the fact that their car is flashed while it should actually be in the workshop.

But that's exactly what happened to a Twitter user from Erftstadt near Cologne.

The woman, who calls herself Chaoshoch4_de on the social media platform, received a letter from the police.

Inside is a ticket from the police from Wuppertal for 30 euros.

The car was flashed there on a Saturday.

But there is a problem: "The man in the photo is not mine and the car was in the workshop at the time.

By the way, this is closed on Saturdays.”

Visit to the workshop ends with a ticket: "What's wrong with the people?"

The letter not only raises the question, but also explains why the car had 300 kilometers more on the clock after the workshop visit.

"Honestly, what's wrong with people?

If I'm already driving around in a car that doesn't belong to me, then I'll at least treat it with care and not drive through a star box," wonders the Twitter user.

The workshop first explains that this could not be the case, since it was closed.

The Twitter user should send a photo of the letter.

And this is where it gets really weird.

None of the employees was behind the wheel, but the father of the car dealer, who “had to have the car repaired by the court under warranty”, as the Twitter user writes.

However, since he had no way of doing this himself, he took the car to another workshop.

Visit to the workshop ends with a ticket: Twitter users report similar experiences

So it's no wonder that the woman has now hired a lawyer.

But it shouldn't have come to that, as the user Chaoshoch4_de writes on Twitter: "We would have dropped the trip under the table.

Even if the person had had his ass in his pants to say: Hey, something happened to me, send the bill.” But instead, the retailer initially played dumb.

Wtf?

Today a letter from the police in the mailbox, 30 € bill for speeding with our car.

On a Saturday in Wuppertal.

Other users would have gone even further: "In addition to the report of unauthorized use, the dealer's father also receives an invoice.

€102 for the 300 km, €30 for the speeding ticket, €550 rent for the weekend, €300 service fee for filling up and cleaning and €100 processing = €1083.” Apparently, however, it is not an isolated case, as can be seen from the answers under the Tweet shows:

  • "I can sympathize with that.

Car in the workshop for two weeks.

Many necessary repairs on the almost new car.

After a good week, the police called with the request to make representations regarding a drug offence.

The mechanic at the time went to Prague...”

  • "That's why I have a GPS tracker in the car.

That's how I found out that my workshop, which advertises with "German workmanship", prefers to go to Poland for painting."

  • “Our mechanic was also flashed with our car when he was doing a test drive (albeit a small lap).

After all, he called us and let us know that he was flashed.

If anything comes up, we should let him know.

    And the car was clean.”

  • "I read a similar story once, someone found their car, which was supposed to be in the workshop, parked in the city.

Then parked the car and waited for the meek message from the workshop.”
