Great land Smotritz (Arch 12)
After a video was revealed of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich struggling to speak fluent English during a speech at the Bonds conference in Washington, "Amazing Country" joins the celebration: in a segment from the program that will be broadcast tonight on Beshet 12, Smotrich is seen inventing words in English.
"Yezrael is Big Money," says Smotrich's character (impersonated by Gia Beer Gurevich) in a segment that was broadcast ahead of tonight's show.
"Mi English no trouble", he adds and then he babbles in gibberish words that do not exist in the English language.
As mentioned yesterday, a segment of Smotrich's speech at the Bundes conference was circulated on social media in which he had great difficulty expressing himself in English.
Among other things, he said "DOT" instead of "DOUBT" (dot instead of doubt) and "FACE" instead of "FAITH" (face instead of faith).
