Network 13 decided to take the "Embassy" series off the air after only 9 episodes in light of the low ratings it is sweeping - and this despite the fact that there are still 11 episodes that have not yet been broadcast.

Network 13 confirmed the details.



The rating that the "Embassy" series achieved was extremely low and sometimes even reached 4.5 percent even though it was broadcast in prime time.

The series actually started with a not bad rating, when it drew 9.4 percent and more than a quarter of a million viewers, but as the season progressed - the rating got worse and worse and reached 4.5 percent as mentioned.

Today, as mentioned, it was decided on Network 13 to take the show off the screen.



The Embassy is a sitcom that dealt with the story of the first Israeli embassy in the United Arab Emirates.

Itzik Cohen played the ambassador, Eden Daniel Gabai played his driver, Lidor Edri played the embassy spokeswoman and Esnath Fishman played the ambassador's wife.

The series was created by Yuval Haklai, Arnon Weiss (one of the screenwriters of Kopa Rastih) and Niv Gat who also directed.
