This voice message will self-destruct:
according to a report by the WABetainfo website, in version 2.23.7.8 for Android of the popular messaging application, a new feature will appear, allowing one-time voice messages to be sent, similar to the existing feature of photos and videos for one-time viewing.
In a previous report by the site, they reported that WhatsApp was working on one-time text messages that would probably come out at a later date, but now it seems that the company, owned by Meta/Facebook, is also working on one-time voice messages.
Like photos, these messages cannot be saved, forwarded or recorded, making it less likely that someone will be able to access them at a later date.
Once you have heard, the message will fade into thin air and not be saved.

On the one hand, this is good news, which will allow you to transfer sensitive information on the platform without fearing that it will be revealed.
On the other hand, messages of this type may be an extensive platform for harassment and cyberbullying.
In any case, the feature is currently under development, and it is hoped that the company will also take into account possible negative consequences of using it, and create appropriate restrictions, we will wait and see if the new feature will appear in the version that will be released.
