Forty years after its first appearance, Renault Espace is back on the scene with its new generation.
The watchwords are always the same, but brought back to the present day between technology, comfort and design.
The motto that accompanied the first Espace in 1983 was that of 'voiture à vivre', and is brought up to date today.

New Renault Espace
New Espace was born with the aim of continuing to be a point of reference in terms of passenger compartment and spaciousness, it has five or seven seats and was created to strengthen Renault's offensive in the C and D segments. The design is thought to be athletic and elegant, a close relative of the equally new Austral of the French house and also available in the sporty Esprit Alpine setting.
To accentuate the goal of 'maximum comfort' on board, the choice of refined materials and the quality of assembly and finishes which aim to highlight the top-of-the-range equipment, starting with a panoramic roof measuring over one square metre, the widest available on the market.
The external dimensions are more compact and the weight has been reduced by 215 kg compared to the previous model.
The engine is made up of the efficient 200 HP E-Tech Full Hybrid, which thanks to its low fuel consumption allows a range of up to 1,100 kilometers on a full tank.
The platform on which New Espace was born is the Cmf-Cd of the Alliance, with a specially designed chassis and over thirty driving assistance devices.
All this, combined with the expedients made available by the choice of Multi-Sense and 4Control Advanced, or Renault's four-wheel steering system.
On the aesthetic front, depending on the trim level chosen from the three available, the equipment and features, as well as the external and internal look, are very different.
In the Techno trim level, the front blade is painted in body colour.
The window surrounds feature bright chrome, while the roof rails are finished in satin aluminum.
The rims have a diameter of 19", while the upholstery is in 100% recycled fabric.
In the Iconic trim, the grille, window frames, front blade and roof bars are black.
The dimensions of the rims reach 20". The passenger compartment is enriched with Light Sand Gray leather upholstery and the dashboard with a real ash insert. The new
Espace Esprit Alpine, on the other hand, boasts a sporty look, with a checkerboard grille and Daytona aluminum rims 20" black diamonds.
The window frames, roof bars and front and rear logos are dark (Ice Black finish for the logos, gloss black for the window frames and satin black for the roof bars).
In the front bumper, the horizontal band and the blade are satin gray.
The satin Schist Gray body color is available as an option exclusively for this trim level.
