They dismantled the stolen vehicles in a body shop in Alpignano (Turin) run by two brothers.
Five people, three men and two women, were arrested in the traffic police operation called 'Magic box': three ended up in jail, one under house arrest and one with signature obligation.
The charges are laundering, receiving stolen goods and car theft.
The investigations started right from the body shop, whose activity, during checks of an administrative nature, had aroused suspicions due to too many irregularities detected, and which later turned out to be a real center for the dismantling of vehicles resulting from thefts throughout the Turin area.
The precautionary measures were carried out between the provinces of Turin and Cuneo.
