Member of Knesset David Bitan (Likud) today submitted a warning letter before suing journalist Yanon Magal and Channel 14 for false advertising.
Also, MK Bitan sent a letter of complaint to Twitter Israel demanding to remove a tweet and reveal the account holder for the purpose of filing a libel suit. Bitan is threatening to sue Yanon Magal for things he said on the program "The Patriots" and a tweet in which he stated that Bitan encouraged the protest against the legal revolution led by the government.
"Magal stated that he 'knows from people' that MK David Bitan spoke to people to encourage a protest against the government. Magal's statements in the program are false and misleading, the purpose of which is to discredit my good name and incite my voters within the Likud party against me. Magal's slanderous words and statements "The Patriots" program did not end, and he added and tweeted the following on his Twitter account: "MK David Bitan is working and encouraging a public protest against the government and against Netanyahu," a tweet that received thousands of views and shares and 890 responses.

Bitan further wrote that "Magal's false and misleading statements, both on the Patriots program and on Twitter, which have no basis to rely on, constitute a slander against me as MK which harms my good name and incites the public of my constituents against me.
These false things are meant to humiliate me and even make me a target of hatred within the Likud."
Bitan asks Minon Magal to apologize and compensate him.
