Festival of children's plays in Haifa

The 33rd Haifa International Festival of Children's Plays is underway - this year too it will be held on Passover at the Haifa Theater, between April 9-11.

The festival will feature dozens of shows and plays for the general public, including seven original productions produced especially for the festival, street theater shows from Israel and around the world and dozens more from the best children's theaters in Israel.

This year, the festival emphasized the value of membership in the opening original presentation "My Friend, Pooh the Bear", a play written by Oren Yacovi and directed by Uri Osmanati, a production of the Haifa Theater in collaboration with the Kibbutz Theater.

Breathing culture

The Lottery and the Nature and Parks Authority are once again leading this year the project "Breathing Culture" during Passover.

This is the fourth year in which there is cooperation between the entities within the project.

Visitors to the national parks will be able to enjoy a variety of cultural performances at no extra charge, including: circus artists, theater actors, musicians, jugglers and even singers and opera singers.



The performances will take place during the three weekdays of Passover - from April 9 to 11 - in the morning and afternoon hours, in selected national parks throughout the country.

Along the itineraries, travelers will be able to meet a variety of shows.

Among the national parks where activities will take place: Tzipori, Yachiam, Tel Megiddo, Migdal Tzedek, Beit Govrin, Mashit.

Passover project of Bank Hapoalim

Over 170 heritage sites, museums, guided tours throughout the country and small tourism businesses from the south will be opened for free to the entire public in Israel during the Passover holiday, under the auspices of Bank Hapoalim.

This year's project added attractions and museums such as the Hermon site (entrance + cable car ride), Lunde - Children's Museum, Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, Ramat Gan Museum, Wilfrid Museum of Oriental Art, Beit Reuven Museum, Beit Yigal Alon and the Yemen Jewish Heritage Center.



The new sites will join a variety of experiences in museums and sites that have taken part in the project in recent years: the Design Museum Holon, "Ano" - the Museum of the Jewish People, Tamna Park, the Promenade of the Walls in Old Jerusalem, the Plantaniya Science and Space Center, the Ein Harod Art Tabernacle, Ben Gurion Barracks in Sde Boker, the museum The Israeli one at the Rabin Center, the Museum of the Bible in Jerusalem, the Yanko Dada Museum in Ein Hod, the Haifa Art Museum, the Museum of Treasures in the Wall, the Hasmonean Heritage Museum in Modi'in, and more.



The sites will be open free of charge on all weekdays between April 7 and 11.

Festive play festival for children at Meditech

The best performances of the Meditech Theater will be staged during the Passover holiday, between April 8-12.

As part of the festival, the best plays of the Meditech Theater will be staged every day.

The festival will open with the new production "The Little Mermaid", and will continue with the premiere of the production "The Secret of Grandpa Ephraim - from the Children of the Tree House series."

In addition, the new show "Ferdinand's Story" will be presented, alongside the award-winning flagship shows that have become beloved classics over the years.

Rock Gilboa

The music festival will include two evening performances by leading rock artists and bands.

On April 8, there will be three performances by the favorite rock bands Where is the Child, Monica Sex and Giraffes, and an opening performance by the Wolf Band.

On the second evening, 10.4, rock legends Danny Sanderson and the Tislam band will perform for two performances, and at the climax of the evening they will collaborate together on stage.

The festival will be held at the Gilboa Amphitheater - Maayan Ein Harod National Park and is produced by toMix.

Music Days Festival in Holon

The "Singer Days at the Holon Theater" festival will be held for the 17th year.

The celebration marked "The Land of Israel is beautiful" according to the poem by Sheika Paykov.

Among others, Shlomi Shaban, Ninet, Miki Kam, Tovia Tzafir, Dvir Bandek, Itzik Cohen, Shlomit Aharon, Esther Rada, Gila Almagor, Ilanit, Valerie Hamati and more will appear.

Passover at Magic Kass

Visitors to the Magic Kass amusement park in Mishor Adumim will enjoy during the Passover holiday three big shows that will run throughout the day, including Anna Zak's show, an illusion show, and a troupe of dancers that will perform once an hour throughout the park, among the facilities and visitors - all this in addition to free use of all the park's facilities.

The only festival of its kind in the world for plays and shows accessible to children on the autistic spectrum, and this year it will also appeal to an adult audience on the spectrum.

The festival will take place between April 9-11 at the Mendel Cultural Center in Jaffa.

It is supported by the Lottery Council for Culture and Art and the Tad Arison Family Foundation.



This year, as mentioned, the festival will present an evening program intended for adults on the autistic continuum, that is, aged 15 and over - including the dance performance "Meshkem and the Side" which deals with progress despite the bumps and difficulties in life;

The show "Ako Ako One One" - an interactive self-development lecture;

Museum of Illusions

The museum offers visitors dozens of different and diverse attractions that will activate the mind and stimulate the imagination:

Herzl Farm - a seasonal cultural center

The Herzl House in the Huldah Forest of KKL-Junk is renewing its face and will be inaugurated this month under the name: "Herzl Farm-Seasonal Culture House". It is located in the heart of the Gezer Regional Council and its opening will be a center of content and activity. There will be a variety of permanent and changing cultural projects and content, which will offer a new point of view about the future of the forest, agriculture and settlement. The place will allow research and creative processes in the field and will act as a home for rotating creators who will create content for the general public and present their work there at the end of the hosting period. Solico Festival 2

The Israeli Theater of the Hour produces the festival for one-man shows for children and youth, the first of its kind in Israel and under the artistic direction of Dana Devorin.

The five selected festival plays are intended for the whole family aged 6-18.

The Nutcracker / Snow White

The masterpiece that took the world by storm in a rich remake of the Israeli ballet with dozens of participants, spectacular costumes and great music (April 7 - Haifa Auditorium, April 10 - Smallerash Tel Aviv).
