The oval brand announced that the pre-sale of the new Ranger Raptor will be carried out with a price of
$29,200,000
and will be made up of 100 units, to which those who have the previous generation of this special version will have priority.
Starting in May, it will be in official dealers.

This new Raptor features a new high-strength steel
reinforced chassis
and off-road skid plates to protect vital parts of a pickup that are often exposed, such as the crankcase, transmission or fuel tank.
It also has a front skid plate.
For this new edition it was decided to replace the 2.0-liter turbodiesel and 213 horsepower with a 3.0-liter V6 EcoBoost gasoline engine, which delivers
397 horsepower
and 583 Nm of torque.

This engine has biturbo technology, dual fuel injection system, 24 valves with double overhead camshaft, independent variable distribution for the intake and exhaust system and an anti-lag system (Anti-Lag).
It is combined with a
10-speed automatic gearbox
that includes paddle shifters.
The four-wheel drive system of the new Ranger Raptor has been improved, according to the statement by the brand, which provides "better performance, safety and individual control of each wheel."
In addition to the traditional options offered by a four-wheel drive system that can be connected to a gearbox (4x2, 4x4 high and 4x4 low), this adds an automatic option that distributes the force between both axles depending on the adhesion of the ground or the management requirement.
