Google got used to being the undisputed queen of web search, but then artificial intelligence came and played the cards: Microsoft, which invested in the artificial intelligence company OpenAI that created ChatGPT, took the technology and implemented it in the Bing search engine.

The result is revolutionary and turns the search on the net into something that was never before.

The big advantage is that you can now ask Bing questions in natural language, and get an answer in the form of a conversation with the ChatGPT engine.

There are no data yet on how this affects Bing's market share, but it is clear that this is a revolution.

Microsoft wasted no time, and hastened to integrate the powerful tool in all its products from Bing itself, through the Edge browser, and now it brings it directly to the desktop in Windows 11. In the trial versions of Windows 11, the search box on the taskbar has already become a box that first of all contains the option to perform a search using ChatGPT .

Typing a question and clicking the Chat button (Bing's B icon in a speech bubble), will take you directly to a conversation with ChatGPT and performing a smart search within Bing.

For example, we asked for a sponge cake recipe, and we received an exact recipe.

But Microsoft doesn't stop there.

According to reports, the company allowed one of its engineers to integrate a ChatGPT component directly into the Power Toys command tool.

The Power Toys tool is a relic from the past of Windows that contained all kinds of improvements and tools for advanced users, which passed away, and came back to life in Windows 10 and then 11 versions.

According to the report, if you install the add-on, and then type the sequence ?? in the command line, the command line will switch to a conversational mode that will allow you to ask for things like "I can't read this", and then Power Toys will offer, for example, the magnifying glass.

This is an interesting experiment of directly integrating elements of artificial intelligence directly into the operating system, and it may revolutionize there as well.
