American actor P. Marie Abraham is accused of inappropriate sexual behavior that led to his dismissal from the Apple TV Plus series "Mythic Quest", reports Rolling Stone.

Two complaints were filed against the player.

The first incident led to Abraham being warned and told to stay away from several actresses on the show, according to a production source.

A second incident in the filming of the series "Legendary Journey" was brought to the attention of the creator and star of the series, Rob McElhenney, who, according to reports, decided that Abraham would leave the series for the third season.

McElhaney responded to Variety to Avraham's departure without addressing the accusations against him: "It's a shame that Marie is not in this season. We are aware that his character is loved and of course is a huge part of the series, so we made sure he had a fitting tribute. We definitely take it seriously."

In the official version that Abraham left the "Legendary Journey" series, it is claimed that he was too busy filming the second season of "The White Lotus"

Later, the Lionsgate company, one of the producers of "Legendary Journey", responded to accusations of sexual misconduct on the part of Avraham: "We take allegations of inappropriate behavior seriously and investigate them thoroughly," the company's spokesperson told IndieWire, "As a corporate policy, we do not discuss in the actions of our team."

83-year-old P. Marie Avraham won the Oscar for best actor for his role as Salieri in the movie "Amadeus".

He also played in the films "Scarface", "The Name of the Rose" and "Aphrodite the Great", in the series "Homeland" and "The Good Wife" and in Shakespearean roles in the theater, among others.

In the past, Avraham referred to the problematic character he played in the "White Lotus" series of Bertie, a flirtatious grandfather who detests the Me-Too movement, telling the New York Times: "I think Bertie is completely legitimate, you know he's real. I grew up with people like that."

"The White Lotus" writer and director Mike White previously said: "Bertie says a lot of questionable things and has a kind of problematic attitude towards sex and women and relationships. I just thought it would be funny to have an actor who also has a 'What, I'll worry?' attitude. There's something Mischievous in Marie, and obviously he can play the villain. But he also has the ability to be endearing."
