It's called Polestar 4, the new high-performance electric SUV coupé signed by the car manufacturer.
The ingredients for the newcomer's recipe are the aerodynamics of a coupé and the capacity of an SUV, mixed in a new concept of SUV coupé.
In terms of size and price (the indicative launch price is 60,000 euros) Polestar 4 is positioned between the Polestar 2 and the Polestar 3. "With Polestar 4 - explained Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar - we have adopted a significant new approach to SUV coupe design Rather than just working on the model of an existing SUV, modifying the roofline and thus affecting elements such as rear space and comfort, we designed the Polestar 4 from the ground up with a new concept that celebrates the rear passenger comfort and driving experience".

Design Polestar 4 sees the implementation of elements shown for the first time from the Polestar Precept concept car, including the removal of the rear windows, to ensure a new immersive experience for passengers, as well as the separation of the Dual Blade headlights with the Polestar light signature, complemented by the Polestar logo with millimeter precision illumination from below.
Aerodynamic efficiency is enhanced by a low front end, retractable door handles, flush glazing with frameless windows, rear aero louvres and optimized airflow around the tail light bar.
Based on the premium Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) developed by Geely Holding, Polestar 4 is a D-segment coupé SUV with a wide body and a wheelbase of 2,999 mm.
The overall length is 4.839mm, the width 2.139mm and the height 1.544mm.
The standard full-length glass roof is available with optional electrochromic functionality, allowing the mode to be switched to opaque or clear as needed.
Thanks to the removal of the rear window, the glass roof extends over the heads of the rear passengers.
A secondary screen for the multimedia systems and climate control is mounted between the front seats for rear passengers to control.

This means that now the passengers in the back can enjoy a unique experience in our SUV coupe".
The interiors and materials have been designed following the theme of 'soft tech', drawing inspiration from the world of fashion and sportswear.
The color and material choices for Polestar 4 explore new options, including new exterior colors Storm and Electron and a unique new interior colour, Mist.
Polestar 4 is also the fastest production car the brand has developed to date.
The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h can be accomplished in 3.8 seconds and maximum power is 400 kW (544 hp).
The motors are of the permanent magnet synchronous type.
Both the Dual motor and Single motor versions will be available, the latter also equipped with rear-wheel drive.
The new Polestar will be launched in China first, with production slated to start in November 2023 in Hangzhou Bay.
For the beginning of 2024, however, a large-scale launch is expected for other markets, including Europe.
