That's it, the moment we've been waiting for has arrived: Noa Kirel and her five dancers finally took to the biggest music stage in the world and held the first rehearsal at the Arena in Liverpool.

The Israeli delegation performed the song three times ahead of the first semi-final of Eurovision 2023 which will be held on Tuesday next week, May 9.

The members of the delegation who were present in the hall said that the rehearsal ended to the applause of the audience.

Special enthusiasm was recorded in Noa's dance segment, and even the veteran competition producers claimed that this was an unusual phenomenon.

At the end of the rehearsal, the team of the Israeli delegation cheered for Noa who got off the stage with excitement.

The Israeli number opens with special equipment, which looks like a tunnel of lights that creates an optical illusion.

Alon Livna and Itai Bezaleli are responsible for the costumes of Noa and the dancers.

Noa Kirel said at the end of the rehearsal: "It was very exciting for me to go on stage for the first time, proud to represent my country!"

The official Eurovision website reads: "Noa begins her performance in a huge box lit with LEDs, with a rotating camera and lots of lighting. She is supported by five dancers, all in matching wet-look black-and-pink costumes, and the whole show is polished from start to finish."

And of course there are also pyrotechnics and the performance ends with a hail of fireworks.

It was also written on the Eurovision website: "Do you want to see me dance? Noa asks. Yes, yes we do. And we can confirm that it's worth the wait. This is how we start a Monday. We also just noticed that Noa abandons her pants for the dance segment, ending up with boots and underwear. Happy Eurovision everyone."

For those who are not familiar with the process, we will explain that each country gets the stage for 30 minutes.

The first rehearsal is considered a technical rehearsal in which the artists and the production get to know each other, understand the direction of the cameras, after which refinements and adjustments can be made as necessary.

After the rehearsal, the Israeli team moves to the viewing room to see how it will look on television.

The participating countries get 20 minutes of another and final rehearsal before the general rehearsals, and Israel's turn will come on Wednesday, May 3, at 4:50 p.m. our time, 2:50 p.m. local time in Liverpool, and then a longer and more significant video will be revealed as it will appear on the transmitter itself.

The first semi-final with the participation of Israel will take place on Tuesday, May 9.

Two days later the second semi-final will be held, and on Saturday May 13 the grand final will take place, and we all hope that Israel will return to it after the year of absence.

All shows will be broadcast live on Khan 11 from 22:00, with live reports from Liverpool here on Walla!
