Mercedes, determined to weaken the electric luxury segment, has been spreading its EQ family models throughout its supply chain for years, but this time we are dealing with the top end literally - in terms of positioning and dimensions.
A year after it was first revealed, the EQS SUV, the crossover version of the manufacturer's electric flagship, arrives in Israel.
Measuring 5.12 meters from end to end, 1.96 meters wide and 1.71 meters high, it is a little smaller than its gasoline counterpart the GLS and the BMW X7, but surpasses both in the important figure of the wheelbase that affects the interior space most of all - when It stands at 3.21 meters (3.13 meters in the GLS and 3.10 in the X7).

The EQS SUV comes to Israel in two versions, both with two engines that provide dual drive and a 108.4 kWh battery that will bring it to a declared range of 579 km.
The 450 4Matic will be the entry version with two engines with a combined power of 360 hp and 81.5 kg, it will reach 100 km/h in 6 seconds and a maximum of 210 km.
The second version is the 580 4Matic here with a power of 544 hp and 87.5 kg. The most significant change is in the acceleration - 4.6 seconds to 100, while the maximum speed remains the same - 210 km/h
. For fast chargers of up to 200 kW, this means that at the full charging rate it will add 250 km in 15 minutes of charging.

EQS SUV prices start at NIS 990,000 for the 450 version in the Platinum EV Plus trim level, if you want it with 7 seats, the price rises to NIS 1.06 million.
The AMG Line version will cost NIS 1.06 million.
If you want to go for the muscle version, that of the 580, the prices start at NIS 1.25 million for the Platinum EV Plus, for the 7-seat version you will pay an additional NIS 50,000 to NIS 1.3 million, and at the top end, at NIS 1.35 million, is the version of the AMG line.
