Comedian and radio personality Shay Goldstein attacked the performance of Israel's Eurovision representative Noa Kirel after the star-studded rehearsal was revealed last week.
In a post he wrote today on Facebook, Goldstein stated that Kirel's show is inconsistent with the claims of female empowerment.
"No, there is no female empowerment here, and no Girl Power, and no Power Rangers. There is sexual exploitation of a confused girl that too many grown people have made millions off her back since she was a minor. "There is a terrible message here to young girls who idolize her because they are told she
is The model for success.
There is nothing here that promotes the status of women but bringing cheap culture out of the lust clubs to the main stage and the glorification of blatant female sexuality and I am ready to commit to you without checking that those who are responsible for this show are men.
Tell your girls that you can succeed even without breaking legs in underwear with an arrow aimed exactly at the penis.
Tell them.

In another post that he published before, Goldstein wrote: "Noa Kirel's second rehearsal has been revealed. What is this thing she is doing there? What is this show of opening her legs in front of the whole world? Because it really isn't dancing. It's rude, it's blatant, it's clumsy and sorry To me it also looks like something that belongs to dark strip clubs. From Israel will come Torah and shame and disgrace. I estimate that she will not pass the semi-finals with this shameful show and at least the whole world will not be exposed to this embarrassing event."
Unlike Shea Goldstein, Noa Kirel's return actually won a lot of compliments from Eurovision fans, surfers and even from Noa's direct competitors in Eurovision.
Alessandra, the representative of Norway, met Noa outside the rehearsal and said to her: "I saw you dancing and singing on stage and I said to myself: This is crazy! What an artist!".
The Eurovision website was also amazed: "Watching Noa Kirel on the big screen is a completely different experience from the one in the hall. The camera work is amazing and each of her facial expressions is completely bold."
