A special musical performance took place last night (Sunday) at Windsor Castle in England on the occasion of the coronation of King Charles III which was held on Saturday.
Musicians Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Take D'Ath, Andrea Bocelli, Nicole Scherzinger, Steve Winwood, Ollie Mars and Paloma Faith performed at the event.

In addition, in one of the sections of the show, members of the Royal Ballet, the Royal Opera and the Royal Shakespeare Company collaborated.
The show was hosted by the English actor Hugh Bonneville, known for his roles in the series "Downton Manor" and the movie "Paddington Bear", which reminds the late Queen Elizabeth II filmed a skit with Paddington Bear.
About 70 musicians were present on stage, and more than 20 thousand people in the audience, and it was broadcast on the BBC in England and live on Yes in Israel.

The evening was accompanied by pre-recorded video clips.
In one of them, Tom Cruise appears as a fighter pilot, as a nod to his star in the "Love in the Sky" movies, and addressed King Charles: "As a pilot to a pilot, His Majesty, you can be my co-pilot whenever you want."
In additional video clips, unknown facts about King Charles were presented by the actors Hugh Jackman and Pierce Brosnan, the actresses Joan Collins, known from the series "Dynasty" and Amanda Holden, the singer Tom Jones and the illustrated character of Winnie the Pooh.

And by the way, frogs, Kermit and Miss Piggy made a surprise appearance on stage in one of the transition sections.
Another transition piece was submitted by designer Stella McCartney, Paul McCartney's daughter.
The stage design was inspired by the British flag and videos were projected on Windsor Castle.

Despite some endearing moments, the event featured a minority of giant stars.
The organizers of the show encountered many refusals when they asked music stars to perform at the event.
The Mirror reported that among the stars who rejected the offer are Elton John, the Spice Girls, Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, Kylie Minogue, Adele and Robbie Williams.
