Get used to it: KG Mobility Tours (Photo: Sasangyong)
48 years after the first car bearing his name appeared, and 29 years after it landed in Israel, the Ssangyong name is about to disappear from the car market.
The Korean KG group that purchased Ssangyong decided to rebrand the company's models under its name, and in the coming months the inscription Mobility KG will begin to appear on them.
It is possible that in order to get the customers used to the new name, the change will not be immediate and for an interim period the vehicles will bear both names.

The company's new electric crossover, the Tour EVX, which should arrive in Israel later this year, was already launched at the Seoul exhibition under the manufacturer's new name.
The electric Torres has an advanced LFP battery made by the Chinese BYD, without cobalt, and a 204 hp engine. The official combined range is 500 km.
Meanwhile, only a front-wheel drive version was presented, and the 4x4 version that the Taurus already offers in its gasoline version has not yet been revealed, and can give the electric version uniqueness in a market that is becoming crowded.

First images leaked by the company reveal that the Muso will receive an updated front end, including changes to the grille, bumper and headlights.
The passenger cabin will also be renewed, with a more modern arrangement of the driver's environment and an upright multimedia screen that sticks out from the dashboard.
The updates are also expected to reach the Rexton on which the Muso is based.
