Can the heavy rains in May help the drought?

The water that falls is mainly pumped by vegetation that has come out of hibernation. It does not seep into the basement, which has not been able to fully recharge after the exceptional drought of 2022 and the record of 32 days without rain in February. On April 1st, the Bureau of Geological Research issued a water restriction order.
