Noa Kirl's moment of truth is coming. Tonight at 22pm the sounds of Te Daum will be heard for the last time this year, and the Eurovision Song Contest 00 final will get underway. Millions of words have already been spilled about Noa Kirel in the media in Israel and around the world, and around 2023:2 A.M. we will finally know where the song Unicorn came from. You want to see me dance, Noa asks, and the audience responds with roars that blow the ceiling of the arena, "Yaa But even before that, a long evening awaits us, with erratic levels of enjoyment, and here's what awaits those who manage to stay up all night.

The show will open with a parade of flags to the sounds of British hits, interrupted by songs that represented Ukraine at Eurovision in previous years. Among others, there will be Jamala who won the Eurovision Song Contest 00 and brought the Eurovision Song Contest to Kiev for the second time, as well as Verka Serduchka, who came second in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

Then the four emcees will take the stage, and in rehearsals we realized that they are doing a simply excellent job. The cast includes comedian and host Graham Norton, actress Hannah Waddingham ("Ted Lasso," "Game of Thrones"), British singer Alisha Dixon and Ukrainian singer Julia Senina.

Before the broadcast began, Israel ranked fourth in bookmakers, which is Noa's record since the song Unicorn was released to the world. So it looks like we have three main competitors to pay attention to here:

Song number 9 - Sweden - Loreen with "Tattoo"
Lorin arrives at Eurovision 2023 with a crown on her head as the winner of Eurovision 2012. Her previous song left a deep mark on the Eurovision bubble, but it seems that for many people the current song is received more coolly. Those who receive her particularly warmly are the bookmakers who crown her the big, big, huge winner of Eurovision in Liverpool. 26 songs will compete tonight and Lorine has a 52% chance of winning at the time of writing, the number can of course change during the live broadcast, but it shows how strong her position is. If Sweden wins, it will be their seventh win and they will equal Ireland for the most Eurovision wins. It will also be the second time the same artist has won for the second time and the first time that a woman has achieved this rare feat. The previous one to do so was Johnny Logan, from Ireland, of course.

Track 13 - Finland - Käärijä with "Cha Cha Cha"
When you watch Cha, either fly on it or look for an axe to smash your TV, there's no middle ground in this song. Since Eurovision only collects points for songs you like and doesn't drop points for hatred and loathing, Finland can definitely take the audience vote. It's been 17 years since the first and last time Finland won the competition, even then there was a gimmick. Comparing the two songs, Finland 2006 was significantly ear-friendly, but when an entire arena roars "Cha Cha Cha", viewers at home can be persuaded to vote for it. This begs the question: Can professional judges rate this song high? In a few hours we will get the answer.

Track 19 - Ukraine - TVORCHI with "Heart of Steel"
The possibility of betting on the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 winner opened on December 6, even before we heard a single note of any song. With betting options on Eurovision 2023 opened, even before a single note of a song was heard, Ukraine led the tables of odds of winning. She maintained this lead until February 22, after the song that Lorine competed with in the Swedish pre-Eurovision Song Contest was published. Since then, Ukraine has cruised between fourth and third places, where it is currently ranked. It is reasonable to assume that if there had not been a war on her soil, this song would not have entered the top 10. If it is a sympathy contest, Ukraine has a chance to win for the second time in a row, and then Eurovision can be closed until the war is over.

Track number 23 - Israel - Noa Kirel with "Unicorn"
What else can you say that we didn't say? Noa sounds better from rehearsal to rehearsal and works in full synchronization with her dancers. Last night at the judges' rehearsal there was almost a glitch, but it was solved very quickly and was hardly visible on the screen. This happened when her pants did not come loose in time, which sent some amateurs into hysterics about the results. So let's reassure: First, it didn't hurt her vocal performance. Secondly, in what is broadcast on the screen the judges barely saw it. Third, the judges are instructed what to refer to when they rate the songs, and this does not affect their rating. Fourth, Noa was a true professional and continued with the Namber in an eye-catching manner, as always. And finally, in 2012, one Lorin, who represented Sweden in the competition, coughed up the judges' rehearsal after the simulated snow entered her mouth (starting at 2:15). How it ended, we all know.
