At least 11 people were injured in an accident this Sunday evening between two minibuses that were carrying children from a football club on the RN88, report our colleagues from Centre Presse Aveyron. The accident, which occurred in the town of La Loubière, in the Aveyron, would have occurred in the early evening: one of the drivers of a minibus would have lost control of the vehicle and would have slipped towards the ditch, before overturning.
According to the local media, at least eleven people were injured, "including two 13-year-old teenagers in relative emergency." A 26-year-old person would be in "absolute emergency" while the driver of one of the vehicles would be "in critical condition."
The mayor of the commune, Magalie Bessaou, expressed her "sadness" to our colleagues at Centre Presse Aveyron.
Firefighters reportedly deployed seven vehicles to assist the many injured, with the support of two Smur teams.
