Two men aged 18 and 20, from La Côte-Saint-André (Isère), were indicted Tuesday night in Grenoble for aggravated procuring and kidnapping, according to information from the Dauphiné Libéré. They were arrested a few days earlier in Villeurbanne (Rhône) in an apartment with a 15-year-old girl, whom they are suspected of having prostituted.
On Friday, May 19, the 15-year-old contacted a friend by message to tell her that she was being held against her will in an apartment by two men. The latter alerts the police who go to the scene and find the girl, accompanied by two men, already known to the justice. They were taken into custody and the teenager was heard by the police.
A dispute over commissions?
The investigators discover that the girl was prostituting herself in this apartment in Villeurbanne. The two men "supervised" her work and recovered a commission on the income she generated. It is also on this subject that a dispute would have broken out between the three occupants of the apartment.
Following this altercation, the two men, aged 18 and 20, allegedly held the girl in the apartment against her will. Initially entrusted to the Lyon prosecutor's office, the investigation was finally transmitted to the Grenoble prosecutor's office. The two alleged pimps were placed under arrest warrant, says the Dauphiné Libéré.
