A new clandestine gathering is giving law enforcement a hard time this weekend. After the illegal Teknival in the Indre last week - which gave rise to many cares by firefighters - an undeclared rave-party brings together this Saturday some 450 people in the countryside of Roybon, Isère, said the prefecture of the department.
The festive gathering began in the night from Friday to Saturday around 2 am "on private land, an agricultural field sown," said the prefecture in a statement.
Rave party 'could last until Monday'
The prefect announced that he had activated a crisis cell on site including ten firefighters and twenty-two gendarmes until the end of the rave-party, which according to the prefecture "could last until Monday". Six rescuers were also dispatched to the scene.

According to the local press, this gathering takes place near the Bois des Avenières, near the former ZAD (zone to defend), occupied between 2014 and 2020 by opponents of the Center Parcs project carried by the Pierre et vacances group, finally abandoned in the summer of 2020.
The gendarmes of Isère and Drôme, bordering department, "actively control the surrounding roads, especially at the entrance and exit of the site," says the same source.
