A 42-year-old man, living in Suresnes (Hauts-de-Seine), was arrested in the night from Saturday to Sunday around four o'clock in the morning in a swingers club located in the district of Pigalle in Paris (XVIIIth). According to our information, he was taken into custody for rape after being surprised by other guests of this night establishment. They intervened while the man was having sex with another client. According to these witnesses, this 23-year-old Parisian could not express her consent.
The alleged victim, who was apparently completely drunk, reportedly fell asleep on a sofa at the swingers' club. That's when she was reportedly joined by this man. It is not known if they knew each other. This client would have put on a condom before acting. But other customers, by attending the scene, would have realized that the young Parisian continued to sleep during the sexual act. They then intervened and woke her up.
The suspect assures that the sexual intercourse was consensual
The young woman then asked her alleged rapist for an explanation. Dispatched by witnesses, a police crew went to the scene to arrest the suspect. He told officials that the sex was consensual. He was finally placed in custody in the premises of the 2nd district of judicial police, seized of the investigation by the Paris prosecutor's office.
Due to his advanced state of intoxication, the alleged victim was unable to file a complaint or even be interviewed.
