The Nissan Ariya represents the step forward in the future of sustainable mobility of the brand, and it can already be seen in the modern and streamlined shapes like those of a concept.
The platform is the CMF-EV, the result of the partnership with Renault, and the external dimensions, with a length of 4.59 meters, make it fully included among the C-segment SUVs.
The glance it offers is suggestive, with the central element of the front view surrounded by LEDs and slits and a side in which the coupé profile stands out in the rear area, where the spoiler extends on the rear window. Behind, however, are the thin light clusters that form a single element, to take the scene, while the marked wheel arches and 20-inch wheels (optional) complete the picture of the external characterization.
The passenger compartment is quite spacious, since in the rear area there is no step that hinders the movements of those sitting in the center of the sofa, while in front it is possible to slide the central tunnel through two buttons, creating a feeling of habitability out of the ordinary. The boot volume is more conventional, 468 liters, but it uses a decidedly practical modular floor.
There is no shortage of touch controls, always on the same tunnel, with which it is possible, for example, to operate the e-pedal, but also to open and close a drawer located under the dashboard, between driver and passenger, or select driving modes.

Quality materials for the upper part of the dashboard, while the lower one has a wood-effect finish that combines well with the whole and creates a pleasant contrast with the buttons inserted inside to manage the air conditioning.
Even on the doors there are well-executed finishes, which physically continue those of the dashboard, and the front seats are real large and welcoming "armchairs".
In front of the driver extends a dual 12.3-inch display that appears as a single body. The infotainment uses a navigator that facilitates the location of the nearest charging stations and plans stops. Updates are over the air and the interface is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Nissan Connect Services app allows you to perform various actions remotely, such as charge management, and adjusting cabin temperature before travelling.
While driving, acoustic comfort is excellent, even on the highway, where there is no rustling, and the absorption of the suspensions allows you to filter even potholes naturally.
The car is brilliant, but progressive, it does not have that on-off driving of some competitors and, if desired, in the city you can use the e-pedal to take advantage of a single pedal while increasing regeneration. The roll does not bother, and the rear suspension with multilink scheme also supports a lively drive in the mixed.
The front engine is asynchronous with 242 hp and 300 Nm of maximum torque, and has the right power and torque values to move the mass of the Nissan Ariya without any indecision.
The distance is interesting, reaching almost 530 km with a full tank of energy, thanks to the 87 kWh battery that accepts up to 22 kW in alternating current columns, and up to 130 kW in HPC direct current ones, from which it goes from 20% to 80% of the charge in 40 minutes.
The Evolve version of our test, which also includes the Pro-Pilot Park, or the automatic parking system, in addition to the head-up display, and other accessories such as the panoramic roof, has a price of 64,350 euros. To have the all-wheel drive e-4orce the cost grows up to 68,350 euros with the same equipment.
