Two complaints were filed against the director of the Hospital Center of Sélestat-Obernai (Bas-Rhin) to denounce facts of moral harassment at work, we learned Wednesday from the lawyer of the two hospital agents, Cédric Demagny.
He denounces a "management by threat and terror", which consists for the director of the hospital to "rot the lives of the agents he took in flu to push them to resign without having to go through disciplinary procedures".
Catherine Sorita-Minard, prosecutor of the Republic of Colmar, confirmed that an "investigation is underway at the police station of Sélestat", but said she did not wish to "communicate further at this stage".

The complaints were filed on 1 October 2022 and 6 February 2023 by two civil servants working within the Groupement hospitalier de Sélestat-Obernai (GHSO).
The first, chief engineer, has been in office since 1998 and denounces "a sudden change in behavior" on the part of the director, a year and a half after taking office on June 1, 2019. The officer then found himself "the victim of real harassment": excess of power, reproaches and vexations on a daily basis, contempt and isolation.
'A climate of fear'
A few months later, it was another agent, belonging to the catering service, who denounced similar facts. "There is a climate of fear within the hospital," says Marie-Caroline Braud, representative of the CFTC within the hospital, antenna created in 2022, ensuring that "other agents are reluctant to file a complaint for similar facts". When contacted, the hospital's management said through its communication department that the director did not wish to speak.
