If you want to travel towards the North Sea, you can do so comfortably by car. However, how much toll you have to pay should be included in your travel budget.
It is also easy to drive to the far north even from Bavaria by car. Although you are on the road a little longer, you can also take everything that fits in the trunk and travel, especially with children, a lot more relaxed and flexible than in the completely overcrowded trains during holiday periods.
With regard to financial aspects, however, apart from the fuel costs, other fees must also be taken into account, which are due on the journey to Denmark. This is preceded by the toll to be paid on the route.
