Ultra-right: anti-terrorist prosecutor requests trial for 16 members of anti-Muslim group

Highlights: The national anti-terrorist prosecutor's office (Pnat) on Tuesday requested a trial before the criminal court for thirteen men and three women. They are suspected of having prepared between 2017 and 2018 violent actions targeting Muslims in France. The group is suspected of searching for weapons, manufactured explosives, scouted mosques with a view to attacks or planned to poison halal food in supermarkets with a rat poison component. These sixteen members of the clandestine group "Action des forces operatives" (AFO) are suspected by the anti- terrorist justice system of having, to varying degrees, searched for weapons.

These thirteen men and three women are suspected of having prepared between 2017 and 2018 violent actions targeting Muslims in France.
