Four men aged between 21 and 27 were shot during the night from Thursday to Friday in Trappes (Yvelines) during what appears to be a settling of scores against a backdrop of a war of territories between dealers.
It was around 00:15 that the police heard a series of detonations coming from the rue des épices. The police immediately went to the scene and found that everyone had left the scene. Witnesses at their windows said two hooded men dressed in black approached a group of four young men who were in the market square. They opened fire several times in the direction of their targets before fleeing on a scooter. The duo was spotted by the anti-crime squad and chased for a while before managing to escape.
Victims go to hospital alone
Meanwhile the four victims rushed into a car and went to the hospital in Trappes. Three of them, hit in the ankle, groin and thigh, were operated on the spot. The third seriously affected by several impacts to the chest was transferred to the Georges Pompidou Hospital in Paris (XVth).
The investigators of the criminal brigade of the judicial police of Versailles were responsible for conducting the investigations during the night. Forensic technicians picked up six shell casings at the scene of the shooting. This new case is part of a series of settling of scores in this district of Trappes. On the night of Sunday to Monday a young man of 23 years had been wounded by bullets in this square of the commune. An event that followed another assault that occurred earlier in May.
