The new Free TV service was launched yesterday (Monday) in Israel, and intends to carry out a price revolution in the industry.
This is an Israeli service established by two giants in the local television field, Keshet and RGE, available for download on all smart TVs, leading streamers, cellular devices and tablets. Despite its potentially confusing name (according to the company, it is meant to express freedom from cables and set-top boxes), this service is not free, but one that offers TV services at an attractive price of NIS 29.90 per month for those who join for life – with the first month free.
The price after the end of the launch will be NIS 39.90 per month, so the initial price includes a 25% discount. In the regular plan, you can watch two screens at the same time, while the plan that allows viewing five screens will cost NIS 39.90 per month at launch, instead of NIS 54.90. Streaming media players come at an additional cost. The company says that there will be no surprises on the invoice, since there are no additional paid packages, and as mentioned, each customer receives a free first month trial.

What does it include?
The service offers a content package that includes 51 channels suitable for the Israeli audience, including all the leading Israeli channels (11, 12, 13 and 14) with a 14-day rollback option. In addition, on Free TV you will find 10 sports channels with the world's leading leagues at no extra charge, a package of children's channels, entertainment channels and a VOD library containing Israeli and international films and series.
The company says that the savings on payment to the TV provider provide the possibility to expand and enrich the library of consumed content, and at the same time add the streaming services of international content giants such as Netflix, Amazon and Disney, for a separate and independent fee, since the company has no collaborations with them. Thus, it is possible to consume all the content that is interesting and relevant, and still save on paying for television services.
Free TV offers a comprehensive service and technical support system that provides both digital and telephone response, in order to provide customers with a high availability response, based on service representatives who provide a response to the company's customers from the stage of joining, through answering questions and service requests on a variety of topics to technical support in case of malfunction. However, it is important to note that there is no solution in the project for Russian speakers.

This is a low-cost product, with relatively small content and original productions, and it does not include Charlton channels for sports fans.
