The two French children and the British child are currently hospitalized at the University Hospital of Grenoble (Isère) while the little Dutch girl has been transferred to the hospital of Geneva. The adult, the most seriously injured, is being treated in Annecy.

This Friday morning, the Minister of Health Olivier Véran announced that two children were still in absolute emergency. Later in the morning, Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne indicated that the four minors had been operated on and that their condition was now stable.

Their condition is "stabilized"

The President of the Republic, who went in the early afternoon to the hospital of Grenoble, reported "positive" news. "Everything I was told is going in the right direction," he said, adding that the three children hospitalized in Isère were "stabilized".

He also gave news of the little British girl who is now "awake". "She watches television, and it's a bad memory already," he said, while saying he wanted to remain "cautious". As for the adult treated in Annecy, "he is awake too," added Emmanuel Macron. Regarding "the little Dutch girl, who is (cared for) in Geneva, it's better," he explained without giving more details.

It was the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs who gave his news in the afternoon, saying in a tweet that the child was now "out of danger". He said the Dutch ambassador to Switzerland, where the girl was hospitalized, had spoken to one of her parents.

Emmanuel Macron took the opportunity to express "his gratitude and pride" to the police and witnesses of the tragedy who tried to intervene, as well as firefighters and caregivers. "You have been great," said the head of state.
