A large plume of black smoke is visible this Friday evening in the sky north of Paris. A fire broke out in Bobigny at Bernard Street, shortly before 21 p.m.

The first firefighters to arrive on the scene requested additional resources.
"As a precautionary measure, be sure to keep your windows closed," recommended on Twitter the prefect of Seine-Saint-Denis, also calling for "not to overload the telephone lines".
