The protagonists of the WEC will return to compete on the track on 10 and 11 June in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans, which coincides with the fourth round of the season.
This is the centenary race for the car marathon and, for the occasion, the list of cars will see the presence of 62 cars, while 186 drivers will take part in the competition.
Among the hypercars will be at least 16 cars, with Ferrari, Peugeot, Porsche, Cadillac, VanWall, and Glickenhaus looking to break Toyota's winning streak. In the list of drivers of the cars of the premier class stand out the names of Buemi, Lotterer and Dumas, respectively, with four, three, and two victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In the LMP2 class there will be a high-level fight between the Jota, United Autosports, Prema Racing, WRT and Alpine teams. In the LMGTE category, on the other hand, 21 crews will compete for the victory, with cars of the caliber of Ferrari, Aston Martin, Corvette and Porsche, which will give life to several duels.
