Around 3:30 am in the town of Fleury-les-Aubrais near Orleans, "a Peugeot 406 crashed into a catenary support pole of the tram line," said the Codis du Loiret.

Despite the intervention of about twenty firefighters, three young people died and two other people were injured in this accident. "There are three deceased, one absolute emergency and one relative emergency," the Code says, adding that the young people who died, two men and one woman, are between 18 and 20 years old. The police have not finished the identifications.
The circumstances of this accident are not known at this time. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, according to the Central Republic. The condition of the car, evacuated from the scene a few hours later, left no doubt about the violence of the shock.
