Singer and reality TV star Doron Mirren is recovering after suffering a stroke just before the holiday. Last week, TMI reported that Miran felt ill and was hospitalized in the stroke ward at Tel Hashomer, and now footage of him from inside the hospital putting on tefillin and listening to the blowing of a shofar for Rosh Hashanah has been revealed.
Mirren's son, Ben Mirren, wrote on his Instagram page: "Over the past few days, my dad and I have undergone a difficult medical procedure together. Our condition is stable, in recovery, thank God for everything. I'm young, I'm strong, I'll get through it. I worry about my father that with God's help he will only be healthy. Stay healthy, listen to me. Forget chasing nonsense. Take care of yourself and your family. That's what we have in this world."
