Telepass launches a new device for electronic tolling made with material recovered from devices no longer used. This was announced by the company, specifying that the new device comes with a green color "result from the recovery of the gray and yellow bodies of the disused devices with which it is made".
"The attention to green is also in the packaging, of recycled material, and in the instruction manual, which has been dematerialized and is now paperless and can be downloaded by framing a QR code", explains the group, adding that "the new obu (on board unit) is a limited edition available, while stocks last, for new Telepass customers who will join the Telepass plus offer". In addition, starting from the first of October, even those who are already Telepass customers will be able to request it to replace the old device.
Launched on the occasion of the European Mobility Week, the initiative aims to promote a culture of responsible use of environmental resources, attention to recycling and the circular economy and is part of Telepass' strategic vision "which has made sustainability an integral part of business and product strategy for over thirty years", adds the group.
