The partnership that has united the Koelliker Group and Mitsubishi for 44 years has been renewed. The agreement, signed for the first time in 1979 and which makes the Koelliker group the exclusive importer of the Japanese brand in Italy, was signed today. Since 1979, in Italy, Koelliker has sold more than 400,000 cars of the Mitsubishi brand and there are many models that the Group has imported and distributed, from the Mitsubishi Pajero to L200, from Colt to Asx and up to the Eclipse Cross and Space Star.
Today Mitsubishi in Italy has a circulating fleet consisting of more than 250,000 vehicles, of which 70,000 Pajero and as many L200, 20,000 Colt and 25,000 Asx. The Koelliker Group now offers the Italian customer a complete range of Mitsubishi models, starting from the Space Star, the city car that allows you to move easily in city traffic without forgetting style and technology.
The Eclipse Cross PHEV SUV is also in the range and by the end of 2023, in all Koelliker Group dealerships, it will be possible to buy the new Mitsubishi Asx, a compact and sporty crossover.
In Berlin, then, in the coming days will be presented to the European press the new Mitsubishi Colt, introduced for the first time in Europe in 1978 and which has sold more than 1.2 million units worldwide in six generations. This model will also arrive in Koelliker dealerships later this year.
Other new models will arrive in Italy in the next two years. 2024 will be the year of the New Outlander PHEV and the alliance with Renault will give rise to a new all-electric model, which will see its entry into the Italian market in 2025.
