According to images viewed by members of the Animal Defense Foundation, 30 Million Friends, the scene is shockingly cruel. In a statement published on Monday, the foundation announced that it had filed a complaint for cruelty and serious abuse resulting in the death of an animal.
The facts, filmed therefore, would have taken place Friday, September 8 during an integration evening for the preparatory classes of the Lycée Thiers de Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône). On the images that were provided to 30 million friends, obviously by a person close to the participants of the evening, the young man would have accepted the challenge of putting the live animal in his mouth.
Still according to this anonymous source who contacted the foundation, the rodent belonged to one of the students of the Marseille high school. To the surprise of the participants, the young man would have put the animal in his mouth, causing the disgust of the participants, according to what the images reflect.
The management of the school does not comment
Then, he would have chewed the animal until killing it. The witness evoked by 30 million friends says that the animal was alive before this act.

Contacted by the 30 Million Friends Foundation, the rectorate of Aix-Marseille did not wish to comment, the facts taking place during a "drunken evening outside the school". However, she acknowledges a "shocking case". The management of the Lycée Thiers in Marseille also did not wish to comment on the case.
For serious abuse or act of cruelty resulting in the death of an animal, the perpetrator faces 5 years in prison and a fine of 75,000 euros.
