The new Hyundai Kona Electric, the battery-powered variant of the recently renewed Korean SUV, makes its debut on the Italian market.
The price starts from 42,000 euros of the Xline version, with a power of 156 hp and a battery pack of 48.4 kWh, while the Xclass Special Edition with the largest battery, precisely 65.4 kWh, also strong with a maximum power of 217 hp, can be ordered at launch at a price of 49,900 euros.
If desired, it is possible to take advantage of an offer for the commercial launch of the 48.4 kWh Xline, including state EcoBonus and Super Hyundai Plus financing, which provides for an advance of 11,020 euros and installments of 249 euros for 36 months.
On this battery-powered Kona, with an aerodynamic style, which guarantees a Cx of 0.27, we find a large cockpit, with a 466-liter trunk, and characterized by a curved digital dashboard equipped with two 12.3-inch displays, complete with OTA updates for infotainment, maps and on-board systems.
The range reaches 514 km according to the WLTP combined cycle, and exceeds 680 km in the urban cycle, while the towing capacity is 300 kg for the Xline trim, and reaches up to 750 kg of the Xclass Special Edition trim.
In addition, the next-generation Kona Electric will also be available, for the first time, in the N Line trim, for which the company will provide details later.
