A new telematic portal for the management by the citizen of ZTL permits. It will be active from 2024 in Aosta, and will operate in parallel with the APS counter service. From next year there will be no more paper authorizations: the citizen will be able to access the portal through Spid (electronic identity) and make the request for a permit, renewal or other needs. "The goal - says the Councilor for Mobility, Loris Sartore - is to simplify the life of citizens who will be able to make their requests directly online. In addition, administrative management will also be more efficient." Payments can be made via Pago Pa. The software cost 200 thousand euros. Some of the cameras at the 12 gates have already been changed. "Depending on the new system, we took the opportunity to make some changes to the ZTL regulation. Tomorrow there will be a meeting with merchants' associations and other stakeholders to discuss some adjustments," adds Sartore.
Among the changes hypothesized there are variations on the evening time slot of the ZTL, free of charge has been introduced for professional studies and associations based in the ZTL and an article has been inserted on accommodation facilities that clarifies the procedures. In addition, fewer documents are required than owning a private parking space.
