The rectorate of Versailles has been the target of death threats and insults since the suicide of Nicolas in Poissy (Yvelines). Several members of the academy have received emails in their professional mailbox or messages on social networks. This Wednesday in the early afternoon, the head of the interacademic service of legal affairs of the rectorate of Versailles filed a complaint.
An information confirmed by the Versailles prosecutor's office, which immediately reacted: "an investigation has been opened on charges of cyberbullying online and in packs, provocation to commit a crime, public insults of a sexist nature, death threats materialized in writing, investigation entrusted to the regional direction of the judicial police of Versailles. "
This outpouring of hatred follows the suicide of young Nicolas, 15, himself a victim of school bullying at the Adrienne Bolland high school in Poissy. Despite his calls for help and the mobilization of his parents, the family had received a response from the rectorate of Versailles described as "shame" by the Minister of Education. Instead of supporting the complainant, the services of the academy had indeed threatened the parents with slanderous denunciation and minimized the facts by speaking of "alleged harassment".
