The facts took place in the courtyard of the Joseph Storck high school, in Guebwiller (Haut-Rhin), Wednesday. Around 17:30 p.m., two students, aged 18 and 19, were beaten as they were about to leave the school, in a "particularly violent" scene recorded by video surveillance cameras, said the Colmar prosecutor's office on Friday.
Six people from outside the school were arrested very quickly, after the call of witnesses to the gendarmerie. Four of them are minors, the youngest being aged 14 and 15. The other two are "young adults". They were all referred to justice for violence aggravated by three circumstances: in assembly, with a weapon -the scooter-, as well as for the place in which the assault occurred, in a school.
The victims, who were punched, kicked, but also hit in the face by scooters, were prescribed one and two days of total incapacity for work (ITT).
Not known to the justice system
Among those arrested, the two youngest were placed under judicial control by the juvenile judge, suspected of being, for one at the initiative of the violence, and for the other the author of the scooter shots.
The other minors will be summoned later, when the two young adults will appear on prior admission of guilt. None of them were known to the justice system.
The reasons for the attack could be a simple exchange of glances, a few days before on a "City Stadium".
