Weekdays from 9 a.m. to 23 p.m. only with a parking ticket: Anyone looking for a parking space knows this. But what does weekdays actually mean? Do I have to take a parking ticket on Saturday?
The tiresome search for a free parking space occupies thousands of drivers in big cities every day. Finally found a suitable parking space, a sign indicates that a parking ticket is necessary on weekdays. From Monday to Friday, of course, everyone goes to the machine and pulls a ticket, but on a Saturday?

Is Saturday considered a working day?
In road traffic, Saturday is a working day, according to several court rulings. So on a Saturday, stand in a parking lot that requires a parking ticket on weekdays, should you take a ticket. Otherwise, there is a risk of a parking ticket. Attention: Speed limits that are only valid on weekdays must also be observed on Saturdays.
Although most people no longer work on Saturdays, the day is generally considered a working day. In 2001, for example, the Higher Regional Court of Hamm (AZ: 2 Ss OWi 127/01) ruled in a case of speeding on a Saturday, as the

Is Saturday always a working day?
Accordingly, one should not confuse working day with working day. Rather, the term "working day" is to be understood as a distinction from "Sunday and public holiday". For this reason, you should pay attention to traffic signs with the addition "working day" or "weekdays" even on Saturdays.
But to make things a little more complicated: Saturday is not a working day when it comes to deadlines. For example, if rental agreements state that the rent must be paid on the third working day of the month, Saturday is not included, because banks usually do not work on this day.
