It is a Ram pick-up, an example of the new Rampage, the 1.5 million vehicle assembled by Stellantis in Brazil, in the Pernambuco Autonomous Pole.
Inaugurated in 2015, the Goiana plant, awarded several times for its high production standards, is one of the most modern of the group. Intended to meet the demands of the domestic market, the plant also produces vehicles for export: in five years 200,000 units have, in fact, ended up abroad, mainly in other countries of Central and South America, including Argentina, Chile and Mexico.
The factory has a capacity of 280,000 vehicles per year. In its lines today five different Stellantis models are built: in addition to the box of the Aries brand, in fact, hundreds of Jeep Renegade, Jeep Compass, Jeep Commander and Fiat Toro are churned out every day.
"This milestone of 1.5 million units produced - underlined Jasson Azevedo, plant manager - is the result of investments in innovation and technology and the continuous effort in the qualification of work. This success encourages us to continue to evolve in the pursuit of excellence and quality, investing in product development, process improvement and, above all, people."
