Taylor Swift's film, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour," will also be released in Israel, Cinema City announced Wednesday. The film will be released in Israel, along with many other countries in the rest of the world, on October 13.
Swift is currently running her "The Eras Tour" with more than 150 shows worldwide. According to analyst estimates published by CNN, ticket revenue for the shows is expected to reach $2.2 billion, making the tour the most successful of all time.
Many fans of Swift were unable to get tickets to the shows, sales to which became a real nerve-wracking journey. The huge demand led to tickets selling within minutes at each performance, with tens of thousands of fans remaining to sing along outside the stadium. To allow them to experience a kind of compensation, and for others to continue the huge celebration that surrounds the performances, Swift announced the launch of the official film of the tour, which will consist of documentation of three different performances during the tour. The film is supposed to be two hours and 45 minutes long.
