For motorists, points after a speed camera are a bit of a nightmare. But what do you get points for in Flensburg? And can the points in the driving aptitude register be reduced again?
A speed camera here, a speed camera there, then the letter with the shock for all motorists: Again points in the driving aptitude register in Flensburg. It is a bit of a nightmare for many who need their driver's license and still allow themselves missteps on the road. But: How many points are allowed in Flensburg before the "rag" is gone? And is it possible to reduce points?
What are there points for in the driving aptitude register in Flensburg?
First of all, the question is: what are points awarded for at all? Because, as with the exchange of driver's licenses, there are always rule changes in this regard. Incidentally, new hammer directives will soon also threaten novice drivers and seniors behind the wheel if the EU pushes through its project. Points in Flensburg are currently available for administrative offenses at various levels.
According to the "ADAC", there is a point in Flensburg for normal administrative offenses, such as a speed violation of 21 km/h. Anyone who drives 31 km/h too fast in built-up areas or 41 km/h outside built-up areas is considered a gross administrative offence and gets two points. Anyone who even commits a crime with the withdrawal of their driver's license receives three points in Flensburg. These include, among other things, drunk driving with property damage, driving under the influence of alcohol (over 1.1 per thousand in the blood) or participation in car races, as "bussgeldkatalog.org" lists.
The fact that car racing, for example, can cost lives and severely endanger other people is shown by two recent cases from Heilbronn. One is the "Wollhaus racer" who fatally injured a family man. And the brother of the "Wollhaus racer", who was involved in an illegal car race and is now on trial, as the "Heilbronner Stimme" reports.
Until the driver's license is revoked: This is how many points drivers can afford in Flensburg
Now there are drivers who diligently collect points - and according to an old wisdom it says: No pain, no gain! The price in this case consists of three stages. At four to five points, the point collectors receive a warning from Flensburg. According to the "ADAC", the person is asked to change the behavior – including the hint to attend a voluntary driving aptitude seminar, with which points can be reduced.

Points | Measure |
---|---|
4-5 | Admonition |
6-7 | Warning |
8 and more | Withdrawal of driving licence |
If that's not enough of a wake-up call, you'll get a warning for six to seven points. This means that it is no longer possible to participate in the seminar on point reduction in Flensburg. If you have eight or more points in your account, you lose your driver's license. However, it is important that the measures are decided on the basis of the score at the time the offence was committed. After all, points can also be mined. By the way, you can check the status of your own points in Flensburg free of charge.
Points scored in Flensburg? Motorists can reduce points
echo24.de explains how points in Flensburg can be reduced more quickly without waiting. On the one hand, there is the voluntary driving aptitude seminar. Of course, this cannot be done every two months, but only once every five years. With successful participation, a point in Flensburg will be removed from the driving aptitude register. This, in turn, is only possible, as already described, with a score of one to five points.

Otherwise, there are so-called repayment periods. These, in turn, are fixed and apply individually to each point acquired. So if a point is entered in Flensburg, time starts ticking until the point is deleted again, regardless of whether more points have been added in the meantime. A separate period then applies to these.
Anyone who has committed an administrative offence with one point needs 2.5 years to lose the point again. In the case of such an act with two points, it is already five years. The same applies to crimes with two points. If you even get three points for a crime, you can set the timer for ten years until the three points are gone.
