Seven days after her disappearance, Lina remains untraceable. An area combed through, bodies of water surveyed, vehicles inspected, hearings, and yet nothing. A week after her disappearance in the Bas-Rhin, still no sign of Lina, 15 years old.
This Saturday morning, on the basis of an "intelligence", the gendarmes carried out "acts of technical and scientific police on the roadside" of the departmental road 350, near the place of the disappearance of Lina, said in a statement the prosecutor of the Republic of Saverne, Aline Clérot.
"Bones were discovered" but they were "formally" identified by a forensic scientist from the forensic institute of Strasbourg "as of an animal nature," she added.
Seen along the departmental road
High school student without history schooled in CAP "help to the person", domiciled in the commune of Plaine, about sixty km southwest of Strasbourg, where she lives with her mother, Lina vanished Saturday, September 23 late morning.
She was walking to the station of Saint-Blaise-la-Roche, a few kilometers from her home, a journey she used to make, to take the train and join her boyfriend in Strasbourg.

Two witnesses say they saw her walking along the departmental road around 11:15 a.m. A few minutes later, his cell phone stopped ringing.

Since then, nothing, despite the wanted notice launched the next day and the intense searches and investigations deployed since: citizen beatings, bodies of water probed by divers of the gendarmerie, hearings of witnesses have followed one another all week, in vain.
"Major operation"
This Friday, a "large-scale coordinated operation" in "several points of the potential area of disappearance" made it possible to carry out "acts of technical and scientific police on several vehicles targeted by the investigation," said in a previous statement Aline Clérot.
"These acts of investigation will continue in the coming hours," added the magistrate, without specifying whether these searches had led to the discovery of clues.
The gendarmerie "is particularly mobilized to find the girl," assured Saturday on X (ex-Twitter) the spokesperson of the Ministry of the Interior, Camille Chaize.

Between six and ten vehicles, according to information from Le Parisien and Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace (DNA) were searched on Friday. Searches targeting in particular "owners of Renault Clio dark color," according to the Alsatian newspaper.
Houses, a supermarket and the waste disposal facility in Saint-Blaise-la-Roche were also inspected, according to the DNA.
A young girl auditioned
Relayed Saturday by Le Parisien, the testimony of a 15-year-old girl and her father, also domiciled in Plaine, could support the scenario, for the moment unconfirmed, of a vehicle in which Lina could, voluntarily or not, board.

The two witnesses evoke the presence on Monday evening before the disappearance of a man driving a "gray car": according to the father, he would have honked his horn who immediately called him "in panic".
The following Thursday, "around 6 a.m.", the same car would have stopped at the height of the teenager and the driver would have "started to get out of the vehicle", pushing her to flee, they told the Parisian. According to the father, his daughter was interviewed by the gendarmes.
Rumors targeting her boyfriend
In addition to a great outpouring of solidarity – the citizen beatings brought together several hundred people – Lina's disappearance has also sparked rumors on social networks targeting Tao, her 19-year-old boyfriend, compared by some to Jonathann Daval, sentenced in 2020 to 25 years in prison for the murder of his wife Alexia after publicly mourning his disappearance.

Fanny, Lina's mother, defended the young man this week on TF1: "It's no longer possible, I can't let it happen. Tao is suffering," she said, visibly very distressed.
"All the nastiness, we don't want it," she told the DNA again on Saturday. "I have hope, I don't give up!" added the nurse, separated from the father of her daughter.
