On the occasion of the Trento Sports Festival, Audi met the public in Piazza Duomo to share the brand's sporting emotions together. It has done so ranging from skiing to Formula but also to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Audi Sport division, which in the last decade alone has produced over 250,000 high-performance cars and won 400 titles on the most diverse race tracks.
In this context, the public in Trento was able to admire - in Italian preview - the Audi F1 Showcar, the preview of the single-seater that will mark the brand's entry into the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. From that date, the House of the Four Rings will take to the track with a specially developed power unit.

The nerve centre of the project is the Audi Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg, which has been certified carbon neutral in terms of thermal and energy supply, and has been expanded due to the important commitment. The new building, of about 3,000 square meters, will house the innovative test benches for the development of the power unit and involves the involvement of over 300 employees working on the development program.
This new challenge, witnessed in Trento by the presence of the Audi F1 Showcar, confirms the central role of sports competitions in the activities of the House of the Four Rings, not only to arouse emotion and participation but also to be the terrain of choice for the development of the technical solutions of the future.
The 2023 edition of the Trento Sports Festival was also an opportunity for a discussion - during a talk conducted by Fabrizio Longo, director of Audi Italia - with Olympic champion Sofia Goggia and mountaineer Hervè Barmasse on the theme of sporting challenges and their value.
A story with Sofia Goggia and Hervè Barmasse in which the protagonists brought their experience to testify how innovation and emotion represent the winning combination to overcome any challenge in the sports and industrial fields. For Audi, the technology driving sustainable progress cannot transcend emotions. Audi's debut in Formula 1 is confirmation of this.
